I got these shoes right before leaving for vacation and love them!  I wore them a couple times on the cruise but have been dying to wear them again.  Since the temperature is (still) bitterly cold outside, I decided to give the socks with sandals trend a try.  I've also been itching to do an Annie Hall inspired outfit lately and thought the socks would work well with what I had planned...

Wearing thrifted trousers and button down, vintage hat, tie and belt, vintage and random jewelry, socks from Target and platform sandals from DSW.

Ryan and I tried out a new place for dinner last night and loved it!  Spent the evening sipping on beers, munching on delicious bbq, and listening to musicians jam out to the blues...Not a bad way to spend a Tuesday night :-)

Sorry for the lack of posts lately!  Life is sometimes so busy and time flies by without warning.  But I will try and get back into the habit of posting a few times a week.

Headed over to my parent's house this morning for a quick photo shoot in the creek behind their house.  Wearing vintage maxi dress (scored this little beauty from Goodwill for 6 bucks!), vintage ring, old bling bling earrings and boots from Payless.

Total cost of outfit: about $25

Two boxes of new arrivals were just dropped off by the UPS man!!  Can't wait to break into them and see what kind of goodies we've got!

Oh, and 5 days until I leave for my Caribbean cruise!  So close yet still so very far away....
