I Saw You Standing In The Corner

I tried posting these pics Saturday (when they were taken) only to discover our phone lines and internet were down at the store.  Which also meant I was unable to accept credit cards for people's purchases....GRR!!  Talk about a frustrating day!  And, AT&T only now (Monday) sent out a technician to fix it!  Annoying, but at least it is finally fixed and we are back online.
Anyway, enough bitching....Saturday I was wearing a fabulously printed vintage maxi skirt from tag*.  I paired it with an old razorback tank I've had for a zillion years, and my black embellished flat sandals from Marshalls.  I added a hat I purchased from a thrift store and a vintage owl necklace.  You will soon learn I have a slight obsession with hats.  It all started when I purchased a black corduroy fedora while attending school in NYC.  Prior to that I don't think I had ever owned any hats other than those of the baseball and winter variety.  But, with the purchase of that black fedora so began the obsession....Sitting here counting them off in my head I have at least 25, although I know I am surely forgetting some...and that's not including my 3 or 4 baseball hats - Go Cards!  ;-)
Closing up shop early tonight so, I too, can enjoy a little holiday!  My man is grilling me up some dinner and we are going to enjoy a little backyard dinner date.  Can't wait!!

I've Been Here Times Before

I didn't have anyone to take my pictures today, so I attempted to take them myself....I think they turned out ok!  Today I am wearing one of my all time favorites.  Its a vintage one shoulder dress from The Clothing Warehouse in Atlanta.  Jenna is the manager of their Greenville, SC location, so if you're ever in the area be sure to stop in and say hi!  I am also wearing an awesome colorblock belt I purchased at a thrift store and flat gold grecian sandals from Payless.  I heart BOGO!!  My ring is vintage and from tag*
Looking forward to tonight, got some old friends in town and we're heading down to BBs for live music and a good time!

For Years And Years I Roamed

Was feeling sparkly this morning....
Rocking my vintage sequin leggings from tag*, a navy tank from GAP (which I got on sale for 7 bucks...so I also purchased it in white and gray!) and my old Guess platforms...check out those spike heels!  I could do some serious damage with those things!  The necklace was made by a friend's mom and of course wearing my huge gaudy gold watch.
I am really loving navy and black together lately.  I don't know who made the rule that you can't wear those two colors together, because if you ask me, they play really nicely off one another.  Its much more interesting than if you were in all black.

Alley Cats

With Jenna back in the STL for a visit, we could finally take the picture for our first blog posting!  From here on out, most postings will be done individually but we wanted the first one to be of us together.  We are, of course, wearing vintage dresses....both of which are from tag.  Jenna is also rocking her favorite cutout black peeptoe booties from Urban and her awesome new clutch she got on sale also from Urban.  Her belt is borrowed from Laney (what are best friends for?!) but is stretchy and studded and was purchased at a thrift store.  Laney is wearing her favorite vintage maxi dress, earrings she has had so long she can no longer recall where she purchased them, and beaded sandals from Target.  This was the beginning of a long, long night.....
