The lights go low, and the show goes on....

First of alll I have to mention the weird way I’m pointing at my crotch in this picture…didn’t mean too. It’s kinda funny though. Anyway I’m wearing a vintage sequin blazer from my store "the Clothing Warehouse", Earnest Sewn jeans, and cutout heels from Urban Outfitters. My necklace is from F21 and my tank top is from Old Navy. Total cost of outfit $135. -Jenna

Waiting in Vain

There isn't a season I love more then fall. Especially because it involves layering random pieces of your wardorbe from all seasons to make something new. Today I'm wearing a summer dress that has meaning to me because it was the dress I was wearing when I met my husband! Oh the memories. Now that I think about it my whole outfit is From F21 except my vintage blazer. I swear I keep that store in business! The total cost of my outfit is $75.-Jenna

"And today you know that's good enough for me"

This western has been sitting on the rack for a few months now and I've just been waiting for someone to snatch it up.  Got sick of waiting and tried it on myself last night....and, obviously, I had to have it.
Men's vintage western from tag* worn over navy blue vintage full slip, braided belt and textured tights both from Target, and the fabulous yet worn wedge boots.  Stacked on a bunch of random vintage bracelets and was ready for Friday.
Total cost of outfit: about $80

"I'm only halfway to everywhere....."

Going to see the Black Crowes tonight at The Pageant!  I thought picking an outfit would be difficult, but it must be my lucky day because the first outfit I tried was the one!
I wanted to be comfortable, since I have to work all day and then will, of course, be dancing all night, but still wanted it to have some funk and maybe a little rockstar quality.
Wearing vintage tunic and belt from tag*, black leggings from Wal-Mart, my fav brown boots and stocking hat.  (I might need to have an intervention over my addiction to this hat...I just can't get enough of it!)  Also, rocked my vintage faux fur vest from tag* as a jacket.
Total cost of outfit: about $125
Can't wait to dance the night away with my dear old friend B-Lord who just moved back from Chicago....

Smells like fall.....

You know when you wake up and it becomes one of those mornings where nothing you put on looks right and all you want to do is crawl back in bed? Well that was the month of October for me. Don't worry though I'm officially out of my funk. The first pic with the umbrella is from today. Raining cold weather here in Greenville. I'm wearing a lace bodysuit, cardigan, and combat boots from F21. My jeans shorts are vintage and the umbrella is a piece of shit that I found under the register today that I later threw away. The total cost of my outfit was around $60. The other pic is from last week that didn't make it to the blog till now. My top is from F21, my jeans are Earnest Sewn, and my flats are from Target. The only thing vintage on me is my cat-eye sunglasses that my husband hates with a passion. The total cost of my outfit is $53 because the top was a gift. -Jenna

Closet Raid

I was having one of "those mornings."  A closet full of clothes and nothing to wear.  So, I decided to try the boyfriend's closet instead and came across this old JCrew shortsleeve button-down....and when I say old, I mean, in the 6 years of us dating, I have never even seen this shirt, let alone seen Ryan wear it.  When he saw me in it he didn't even realized it was his.  The fact that he is about 7 inches taller and 85 lbs heavier, makes it a bit difficult to borrow clothes from him, but I liked the way this one fit and the way it bunched together in the back...kinda fun!  I toughed it up with my F21 liquid leggings and strappy leopard print sandals.  I belted it with a vintage belt from tag* and called it a day.
Total cost of outfit: about $30 (it helps that I didn't buy the shirt)

This Is It

Went and saw Michael Jackson's This Is It last night and am still obsessing over it today.  All the drama and scandal surrounding his personal life over the past 10 years has stolen the spotlight from his talent and that is why I am so grateful this movie has been released.  This Is It reminds us why we all fell in love with Michael to begin with and why, while there will always be imitators, there will only ever be one Michael Jackson.  A quiet, patient, soft-spoken perfectionist who is magic on stage and, at the age of 50, continued to put dancers half his age to shame.  This is what his legacy was meant to be.  For all of you who haven't yet had the pleasure, make sure you go see this movie!  I promise, you won't be disappointed.
So, in honor of the King Of Pop, today I rocked my vintage MJ tee Jenna got for me.  Paired it with this crazy fun green tull tutu from F21, a vintage gold and rhinestone skinny belt and my favorite new leopard print strappy sandals also from F21.
Total cost of outfit: about $45
