Here I am, wearing a bunch of my new thrifted and vintage finds! The dress my mom actually found at a local church sale and I love it!  The amazing vintage peacock belt, earrings and faux gemstone bracelet were all scored from this fabulous little vintage/thrift boutique in Florissant called Andrea's Boutique. The owner, Andrea D'Angelo is simply adorable and has great taste! Her store is full of all kinds of treasures, a few of which just had to come home with me :) You can check her out on Facebook here, or better yet just head to Florissant and do some shopping in her store!

think it might just be a new favorite

 Debuting one of my new vintage dresses and think it just might be a new favorite!

And speaking of new favorites, I'm having a love affair with these golden espadrilles. They're not new though, I've had them for years and never really wore them, but I will be making up for lost time this summer! I actually bought them back when Jenna and I were living in our Soulard apartment together...ah, good times.

scarves in the summertime

Spent Sunday morning running around with my mom, working on the shower we're throwing for my soon to be sister-in-law. My mom and I have been having a blast with all the party planning :)
Wanted to be comfortable for a day of errands so, of course, went with a long vintage dress. And I love love love head scarves in the summertime. Simple, pretty, and keeps the hair off my face. And I can't rock a head scarf without big hoop earrings.

rocked the high pony

This outfit actually started with the earrings - which unfortunately you can't see in this picture and I didn't think to have Mom snap a closeup...so I will just have to wear them again sometime soon ;) - The earrings are huge silver circles with cutouts...so awesome! I rocked the high pony to showcase them and paired the look with my new thrifted romper.

Spent this past Saturday hanging at my parent's house with them, my brother and his fiance, and my grandparents. Always nice to have the chance to enjoy some quality family time! And, we did a lot of wedding planning for my brother's wedding!! Can't believe my baby bro is gettin' hitched this summer! I'm so excited for him, and he couldn't have found a better partner. Megan is simply the most lovely girl ever, and the perfect yang to his yin :)
